Fall, 2004 -- Auburn University students are getting a chance to lend a hand in the fight to end hunger in the world.  The World Food Programme, an agency of the United Nations, has chosen Auburn as the first university in the nation to launch a “War on Hunger Student Campaign.”  Auburn’s campaign will become the model for other universities around the world to follow.

The directors of this initiative at Auburn in the College of Human Sciences, have chosen the Department of Industrial Design's Web Studio class to design and implement a website chronicling this program at Auburn.
